HOW to LEARN a FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The importance of learning a foreign language is talked by many people. There are a lot of advices about it and they use different methods to learn a second language in a short time. I myself searched and applied some of the methods and get good results. If you follow my learning steps, I guarantee that you will learn all languages properly.
First way is learning grammar correctly. This way is very important because if people learn grammar correctly their language develops easily. They can understand the structure of language and use the sentences properly. After learning grammar, student is start other ways.
Second way is writing and reading. These two ways are important for speak fluently and think fast. Students should write an essay every week because writing activity increases your performance. The other way is reading. Students can learn many words while reading book but they should read educational book firstly and they should be careful while reading. These are good ways to learn foreign language
Third way is listening. Listening is the best way to pronounce words correctly because students listen and select correct pronounce. They should listen to foreign music and television channel. These activity is good for understand foreign language so students can be learn think with listening.
As a result, although students have different way of learning a foreign language, if they apply these methods, they can learn correctly and easily.

PEOPLE AND ANIMAL
Most people have very close relationship with their animals. They accept their like a member of their family. In my opinion people relationship with animals’ are not good they are many reasons why this kinds of relationship are not good. The purpose of this essay is to explain why these kinds of relationship are not good.
These kinds of relationship cause many illnesses because many pets carry viruses that can cause dangerous illnesses for example people feed dogs in their homes. However, dogs carry virus that make diseases. Pets are also harmful to babies. Many pets leave their badly hairs to the place that they live in. babies vomit these badly hair and they become ill. For example, my brother was keeping a bird in the house when his child was a badly. This baby got a disease because of the bird.
Also, pets do much harm to the house as they do not think like human they harm to the house. They do many things that housewives do not want for example; dogs and cats urinate and defecate in the house. They make the house very dirty. Cats and dogs harm the furniture’s in the home. Birdrs leave their beadily hairs and maybes the house dirty,
Furthermore, pets harm other people. They make noise and neighbors are harmed because of these nurses. For example dogs bark. They make noise. These noises harm neighbors. Dogs also harm other people physreally. For example, they bite neighbors.
In conclusion, pets do much harm to many things. Therefore, I do not approve relat rangren shıp of people and animal. In my opinion, these relatrang are not good.

FURTHCOMING DISASTER
Nowadays, environmental problems have become one of the most dangerous problems all around the world. These matters are very effective on living creatures.These problems consist of three parts: air, soil, and water pollutions.
Have you ever watched the popular movie “Inconvenient Truths”? The ones who have watched this movie know that air pollution problem is getting more serious day by day in the world. Moreover, the states and governments have started discussing to solve environmental problems mainly air pollution. The Kyoto Protocol is the most important result of these kind of efforts and studies. Air pollution is a result of breaking the balance of major gas by the affecting of carbon dioxide and factories' poison gas. Air pollution has three main parts: biological, physical, and chemical air pollutions, such as sound, smell, and radioactive material filthinesses are primary reasons of physical air pollution; aerosols, and ammonia cause chemical air pollution; pollens, small insects produce biological air pollution. Air pollution mainly causes lung cancer and asthma.
 Water pollution is another major environmental problem. Factories' effluents, sea vehicles and sewerage cause dirtiness of open seas. However, people usually know open sea pollution as a main problem of water pollution; there is much more serious danger is called underground and drinking water pollution. This can affect us and also the next generations. This pollution makes people ill like cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea.
There is a soil pollution which is caused by mostly agricultural activities. Heavy metals pollution, high intensity N-based fertilizers, and agricultural drugs are main reasons. The effects make the yield of soil decrease.
As a result, we are facing with very big alerts. Environmental problems have become the most dangerous ones. Nature is serving us for centuries but we do not recognize the real value of it as expected from us.

BAD EFFECTS of FAST FOOD
What does mean fast food? This answer is very easy. Fast food means faster eating. People like faster eating so likes fast food. Eating is very easy by fast food. In addition, some city has fast food store. Such as, burger king, mc Donald’s, KFC (Kentucky fried chicken)… also, it will open the new store but this very bad thing because fast food is very dangerous. It has a lots bad affect for people: overweight, unhealthy .
Firstly, overweight problems. This is very big problems in the world especially for U.S.A. because they eat fast food every time. If this food has more fat, people have a lot of overweight and ill so they are very unhealthy people.
Secondly, unhealthy problems. People have more ill by fast food because fast food’s eat is very fatly, calorie, detrimental for them. Furthermore, It’s some effect arrest, heart attack, greasy heart and seam, seam blockage, metabolism annul, stomach ache, nausea, heartburn development block and stop so people dead early years ago. This is very bad thing for people but they like fast food. Also, its taste is very well and it’s cheaper so people choose fast food sometimes.
As a result of, fast food not healthy, dangerous and detrimental for us but one of the best eating features. In my opinion, this is unhealthy food but I absolutely like it and eat sometimes. Especially, I like to eat burger king fast food. Finally, if every thing is bad, it is very well.

| WE DO NOT NEED ANIMALS FOR FRIENDSHIP
Many people have a close relationship with their pets. These people treat their birds, cats, or other  animals as members of their family. In my opinion, such relationships are not good and I do not like such relationships for the several reasons. The objective of this essay is to explain why such relationships are not good.
Firstly, according to me humans and animals can not be friends because animals do not have a mind and animals cannot think anything. Humans and animals do not share anything and animals cannot speak with humans. Animals are dirty creatures but humans are clean and tidy creatures. In other words, animals and humans do not have common features that they share so they can not live together. However, a lot of people feed animals and live together in the same house. I think, these kinds of relations are not logical and healthy.
Secondly, if you still have such relationships with the animals and live in the same house, you will probably have problems and find your calamity because animals have a lot of bad habits. They create many disadvantages for humans. For example, cats claw all furniture. They harm the rugs and make the house messy. Another example, dogs make the houses very dirty. They harm the rugs and furniture too. Also, they disturb all family members and neighbors in the night. Sometimes, they bark all nights and make noise so that people cannot sleep. Besides, animals are harmful for the human health. Animal’s feather is very dangerous especially for the pregnant woman and small babies.
To sum up, I do not advise people to feed animals and live together with them in the same house. I think people and animals should not have close relationships.

| ADV. and DISADV. ESSAY: THE ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES of TECHNOLOGY
All people like animals but they do not like all of them because some of them are wild, some of them are domestic. Especially, humans choose domestic animals because they want to live with them. I like animals like other people do. The aim of this paper is to explain why I like animals.
I like both types of animals but I prefer domestic ones so I want to live with animals. These domestic animals are birds, dogs, and cats. I think, dogs are very friendly and useful animals because they don’t betray their patrons. For this reason, I prefer dogs to cats. People used to use dogs in different places in the past, for example Izmit earthquake. Dogs were used to rescue the people from wreckage as because they could smell out dead people and causalities. Another example, people needed to use dogs for herd and flock because thieves and wild animals attacked to steal and eat. Therefore, Dogs are the best friends of people.
The husky is an animal that I like. Husky is a kind of wolf. It lives in Siberia. Siberia is the north part of Russia. This animal has got interesting features. Some of these features are two different colours in their eyes-one of them is blue, the other one is grey or green. They have three different colours in their fur their colors are grey, black, and brown. For these reasons, some people like husky very much. Especially, they like the features of their eyes. This animal’s fur is very important for some people because it is very expensive. For this reason, Huskies are being killed by humans.
They are used for different purposes by people because they are very strong animals. I think, this animal do not get tired because it always runs with sled on the snow and ice and it carries people. Also, it waits for caribous. Husky is an animal that people can trust.
As a result, I think, these animals are very important for people because they use them everywhere and in every work but we shouldn’t forget their importance and we should love them.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD
I live in Gaziantep when I was a child. Gaziantep is an industry city, so it is doesn’t have enough touristic place and amusement place. We change a lot of parish so we have al lot of good neighbor. I stayed last neighborhood name is Emek before I go to Istanbul. It is a really very good parish but it is a piece of noisy. I don’t like noisy place instead I like silent places and greenness places. Anyhow, Emek generally have apartment but it have a lot of place for run, picnic, and wonder. Our apartment has only four floors so everybody knows one another. My neighborhood every time has an action. I miss my neighborhood, my friend, and my family. Every holiday we visit all neighbor and they visit us. It is really nice. Consequently, I like Emek very much because I live there many years and I accommodate there.

CAPITOL SHOPPING AND LIFE CENTER
Capitol shopping and life center is the most popular shopping center in Istanbul’s east side. It has got typical features of a mall for example, a lot of shops on different floors, all under one roof. Capitol is located in Usküdar. This center built in 1993. Capitol’s design was changed in 2006 by civil engineer so it won the best project of Europe’s award in 27/04/2006. Capitol hasn’t got complex of office buildings. However it has got a lot of small stores and a few large stores. Most people go to capitol because this shopping center opens every day. There are a lot of restaurants in first floor. The first floor has got 39 small stores and a large store, 27 small stores and a large store in second floor, 43 stores in third floor and 16 stores in fourth floor. Specially, it has got 14 movie theaters in fourth floor. Capitol’s largest stores were rented by BOYNER group. All people to kill time in Glory Jean’s, Starbucks and Spectrum 14 in Capitol. Some of them meet their friends. For this reason, these places are always crowd. Starbucks café in located in on a bridge. Therefore, it has different appearance. As a result, Capitol is wonderful place because it has got very simple design so all visitors can find everything in that place. For this reason, it is very popular shopping center in Istanbul’s east side.

BESIKTAS
My favorite place is Besiktas because I fell relax in this place. For this reason, I always go to Besiktas. Besiktas is a very historical place. It has got many different places. For example, there are Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Yıldız Summer Palace, small and big Mecidiye mosques and military museum. Therefore, I fell like inside a historian magic. I love Besiktas because it is very amusing. This quarter is lively every night because it has got a lot of night clubs, discos and cafés. Especially, I recommend you to go to Ortaköy and Kuruçeşme because that places are very interesting and very fascinating. Some people go to Ortaköy every night. Some of them go to Ortaköy in the afternoon. This place is very important for me because I have studied to university entrance exam. Therefore, I have been in this place every day. However, my favourite team is in this place. I go Inönü Stadium to watch my favourite team every weekend before I go to Big Besiktas Bazaar. I have fun in this place. As a result, Besiktas is the historian and the most exciting quarter of Istanbul. For this reasons, I fell relax and happy in this place

THE MEN AND WOMEN IN TURKEY
There traditional man and woman typicals in Turkey. The man are head of their family and they work out although the woman are usually housewife. The men start to work early. Some men graduate from Unıversıty and work on their own office. Some men interested in trade. Lots of men set up their company and be succesful. There are a lot of examples in Turkey. The man are head of family. Tha men are a good father and husband. Some men like spending time with their children because family concept is very important in Turkey. A lot of women work out in Turkey however they have got some responsibilities at home. They run the house-hold in their free time. The pace of their own life is fast. The women who don't work out are house-wife. They run the house-hold and look after their children. Moreover, the women are perfect mothers and wives. Their husband and children are very valuable for them. In addition, the women are very selfless and caring. They structure is very important in Turkey. As a result, the family structure is very important in Turkey. Everybady knows their responsibilities. The parents prepare a good future for their children. The children notice this situation and they struggle for them family.

RISK, DANGER AND SAFETY
To produce new product is very difficult work because they have risk and they haven’t a risk for example some people prefer new product. There are a lot of disadvantages. For example new products are releasing .we have one hundred bred products so we spend a lot of Money and we spend a lot of time. But we have a lot of risks. ‘Will people new product prefer? , is it reject? , will people new product like? ‘. We have a lot of ask in brain. This is very exciting. Because we are out of pocket in short time. But these risks have a lot of advantages. For example new products like other people if we earn a lot of Money and we are very popular company or people. We are businessmen and we are businesswomen .we have new brands. We are happy too and we are very successful people. If take a risk. We have a lot of think back. They take a risk if they never negative conceived not on your life. In addition take a risks is very different happened. So everyone don’t to carry out success

I am a perfect person. Simply, I am a talkative girl and I was a bitty person. But now, I am an orderly person. But my only bad habit, eat fingernail. On end I eat my fingernail. I have eaten my fingernail. That is a bad habit. I don't like but I can’t control myself. I love seeing long fingernail and sleek fingernail. So that I went to psychologist. Psychologist said: That is a psychopathology. I was unhappy and I was angry myself. I know, That is very injurious but unfortunately, I don't control myself. I believe, I will consign it. My father's bad habit is smoke. He smokes every hour. I talked with my father. But he smokes every hour. I hope, My father will leave from smoke. My only bad habit is eating fingernail.

FLU
Sally woke up on Tuesday morning with an aching head and a high temperature. Flu, she thought when she looked at her flushed face in the bathroom mirror. So she rang the radio station and left a message at the reception for John, then crawled back to bed. She couldn't sleep. Her temperature was very high. She kept sneezing and blowing her nose. An hour later, she felt so much worse that she rang her doctor. He came to see her immediately. He popped a thermometer in her mouth, took her pulse, looked down her throat, at her eyes, took out the thermometer and looked at it.' You have got a high temperature. You are developing measles' doctor said. 'Measles?’ She repeated. 'I thought only kids got that? 'He shook his head. 'stay in bed and drink lots of fluids. Take fruit juice, milk and weak tea. If you are hungry, you will eat eggs, fish, fruit, no junk food, please.' 'My mother will come' Sally said.' Good good. It's more comfortable for you said doctor. Then he glanced at his watch 'I must go on. There are other patients to see. Enjoy the rest, thing of it is a little holiday and you will feel better.' Then she went bed and made everything for self. Two days later, Sally felt happy.

A NICE MEMORY
It was a hot Sunday in the summer. The weather was very hot in the downtown. For this reason Mehmet decided to go to forest and beach with his family but they didn’t have a car. Mehmet borrowed a car from his friend and they went to the forest and beach in the afternoon.
Mehmet ate lunch with his family in the forest. Later Mehmet went to beach. He swam and laid on the beach. Suddenly he saw dark clouds in the sky. Clouds became darker in the sky. He saw two tornados on the sea. Ships were on the sea. Tornado hit the ships. Later ships sank. As a result a few huge waves appeared on the sea. For this reason he was afraid. Tornados came to closer to land. He thought about his family. He called his wife but his wife didn’t answer the phone. Mehmet wanted to run away. He ran towards the hill. He climbed to hill and he looked some people on the hill. People were talking on the hill because tornados came to beach. Mehmet was still curious. For this reason Mehmet wanted to go to his family who was in the forest but tornados came to near.
Mehmet heard a noise. This noise said: ‘Your fate has been written, you cannot change your fate, no man can and you will die.’ Mehmet was very scared.
Later Mehmet run towards the forest but tornado came to forest side. Mehmet arrived to his family and they got on car. They decided to leave forest. Tornado disappeared. They are safe now. This day is an unforgettable memory for them.

MOST BEAUTIFUL TOWN
A lot of people like many different places but some of them like a favourite place. I like many different places but my favourite place is Besiktas.
Besiktas is a very historical and amusing quarter. It has got many different places. For example, there are Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Yıldız Summer Palace, small and big Mecidiye mosques and military museum. However it has got many different kinds of schools. These are university, high school, primary school. For this reason this quarter always has a smooth life.
I love Besiktas because it is very amusing. This quarter is lively every night because it has got a lot of night clubs, discos and cafés. Especially I recommend you to go to Dolmabahçe Palace and Ortaköy because that places are very interesting and very fascinating. Some people go to Ortaköy every night. Some of them go to Ortaköy in the afternoon. Dolmabahçe palace is very important for us. Atatürk lived and died in this palace.
However my favourite team is in this place. I go Inönü Stadium to watch my favourite team every weekend before I go to Big Besiktas Bazaar. I have fun in this place.
For these reasons, I think Besiktas is the most beautiful and the most exciting quarter of Istanbul.

HABITS
I think all people have got different habbits. This habbits are divided two groups. These group’s kinds bad and good habbits.
I played computer games when I was a child. This was my bad habbit. I think computer game very harmful because unhealthy and lost of time. I had got this habbit because I was bored when I was a child. I play computer game but as much as before.
We have got a lot of different way for victory. These ways read book, go out, to be social person, meet friends, visit another place….. I tried these ways and so I broke the bad habbit. I am very happy now because I am not unsocial person.
I think everybody uses these ways escape bad habbits.

| MENDO
My grandmother told me it was a real story. Our hero mendo lived in Başkale in 1955. Mendo was a lazy cat. It had got a long black feather.All day it slept near the stove.
One day our workers went to the mill. They grinded the flour. When They finished their work, they left the mill but worker Mahmut didn’t finish his work. He stayed mill and he finished his work. It was late and he decided to sleep there. Suddenly, he saw Mendo in the mill. Mendo turned to a handsome man. Mahmut was afraid. Later six people came to mill and they played all night long.
Mahmut was a tired and confused. He looked them but suddenly he fell a sleep. He woke up in the morning. He looked the mill but Mendo and his friends weren’t there. He left the mill and came his home. He saw Mendo was sleeping near the stove again and he said “you are a dancer at night but you are a sleeper now.”

| NO SMOKING
I don’t like smoking but my friend smokes cigarettes. I’m unhappy because smoking is bad habit. It’s killing. My friend becomes ill. My friend caughs and she can’t run. I don’t understand why she smokes. She says that smoking cigarettes removes her sadness. I think it gives sadness. I do explain she doesn’t smoke cigarettes. I’m afraid she will be ill, because she smokes a lot. My friend family doesn’t know because my friend family lives in different city.” |
| A MEMORABLE GIFT
I have only one memorable gift. I never forget this remembrance because that day a really unforgettable day for me. I was only ten years old and I wanted a Monopoly very much. Monopoly is a very good game but I didn’t have enough money for buy a Monopoly. I want some money from my mother and my father for buy a Monopoly but they said that it is a very needless thing so we don’t buy it. This moment, I felt really very sad and bad. I was cry exactly three days. Anyway, just one week later my birthday but I exactly forget my birthday. One day we went to uncle’s home and all together have a chat. Suddenly, my mother came into room with a big cake. My mother was holding a birthday cake with eleven candles on it in the living room. At the same time, every body shout ‘happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Onural, happy birthday to you.’ Later my mother gave me a packet. I open it immediately and I saw a Monopoly. It is incredible but real. I felt very strange and mix emotions, some happiness, some sadness but the most bewilderment. I jumped my mother’s neck and kissed her heaps of times. At last, I started cry. I was very happy but I was crying. I don’t know why I did this but I was just really happy.
